iFest Bootcamp returns, an online entrepreneurship training programme that allows students to earn 2 ECTS credits
Registration is now open for iFest Bootcamp, a 35-hour programme based on design thinking to solve real-world challenges. UAB undergraduate students who complete the training can earn 2 ECTS credits.
iFest is a programme run by the Government of Catalonia that promotes innovation and entrepreneurship among young people. It begins with the Bootcamp, an intensive online training programme focused on solving challenges through the design thinking methodology. The programme is structured into seven blocks —Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test/Validate, Lean Canvas and Communication— combining training videos with worksheets to guide participants from identifying opportunities to presenting viable solutions.
The training provides academic recognition of 2 ECTS credits for UAB undergraduate students who complete the programme and meet the established requirements: 100% attendance at the online sessions, completion of the activities, and viewing all the training videos in each block, as well as submitting an individual investor deck to the Entrepreneurship Unit of the Employability Service (empren.info@uab.cat) by 3 February 2027.
In order for the academic recognition to be processed, participants must register on the Bootcamp platform and, additionally, enrol in the Bootcamp through the University’s NEXUS application. People without a NEXUS profile can use the “Partial Registration” option to complete the enrolment.
