Free 'TechprenedorIA' course teaches how to build prototypes with AI and no-code tools
The UAB has opened registration for 'TechprenedorIA', a hands-on digital skills course in which participants will learn how artificial intelligence works, explore no-code tools and develop their own prototype. The course is free, carries 1 ECTS credit and runs on Tuesdays from 6 October to 10 November 2026, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Espai Emprèn UAB. Registration is through NEXUS.
'TechprenedorIA' is a hands-on digital skills course for UAB students and alumni interested in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Over six sessions, participants learn about emerging technology trends, explore tools that let them build applications and websites without coding, and apply this learning to a prototype defined during the course. No prior programming knowledge is required.
A six-session journey
The programme begins on 6 October with the digital context and project definition, and continues with the fundamentals of artificial intelligence: how it is trained, how neural networks work and what real applications it has today. The middle sessions focus on prototype building, covering the basics of cloud computing, APIs and integrations, agile methodologies and no-code tools. The final stretch covers responsible AI — bias, regulation, sustainability and ethical dilemmas — and culminates on 10 November with a demo day where participants present their projects.
The course is taught by Albert Puntí, a data scientist and industrial engineer specialising in natural language processing, with experience in end-to-end deep learning projects such as voice assistants, search engines and text mining solutions. Sessions take place at the Espai Emprèn UAB, in building RR, first floor, above the Plaça Cívica bar.
Recognition and registration
Undergraduate students who complete the course can apply for 1 ECTS credit to add to their academic record.
Registration is through the NEXUS application. Anyone who does not yet have a profile can complete a partial registration, a quick and simple procedure that allows them to sign up for the activity.
