Seven UAB entrepreneurial projects are finalists in the Santander X Spain Awards 2026
On 16 June, Emprèn UAB will host the final of the Santander X Spain Awards 2026. This initiative is promoted by the UAB in collaboration with Banco Santander, and aims to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship within the university community.
The event will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Sala de Graus at the Faculty of Economics and Business. It will bring together the finalist projects and start-ups from the two categories of the competition. University Entrepreneurial Project and University Startup.
The finalist projects in the University Startup category are Distinkt, promoted by Luca Venza; TECOUS, by Francesc Serras; and BioEclosion, by Jofre Ferrer-Dalmau.
The finalists in the University Entrepreneurial Project category are Torion, by Jordi Pujols; Pit3D, by Marina Ferrer; UBRA HEALTH, by Marina Sánchez; and OPTICmizing, by Alex Gomez.
During the day, the finalists will present their proposals to the jury, who will then deliberate before presenting the awards for the best entrepreneurial project and the best start-up. The event will conclude with a cocktail reception and networking opportunity designed to facilitate interaction between participants, the jury, and key figures in the university's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
