The Chair in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at the UAB is pleased to announce the Eines Awards 2026
The Chair in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at the UAB has opened the call for entries for the 2026 Eines Awards, an initiative that aims to recognise and promote projects with a positive social impact, fostering social transformation through innovation and entrepreneurship. Entries can be submitted until 15 April 2026.
These awards recognise projects, programmes or initiatives that generate a social, community or environmental impact. Eligible projects can be emerging, intrapreneurial or already established. Companies, entities, entrepreneurial teams and promotional groups can participate, regardless of whether the project is established or still in development. The jury will place particular emphasis on innovation, social impact, alignment with the principles of the social and solidarity economy, project viability, and the strength of the promotional team.
The call for entries includes different territorial categories and a thematic award, with a total prize fund designed to promote transformative initiatives in the territory. In Catalonia, the winning project will receive €3,000 and the runner-up €1,000. In the Vallès region, the winning project will receive €1,500 and the runner-up €750. The same prize money will be awarded for projects in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Mollet del Vallès and Montornès del Vallès.
In addition, the Eines Awards include a themed prize for projects in the Barcelona province focused on digital transformation with social impact. This prize is worth €1,500 for the winning project and €750 for the runner-up.
