New edition of the AI4ALL programme to promote entrepreneurial projects on the AI sector

Registration is already open for the seventh edition of the AI4ALL programme, an initiative with the goal of promoting the creation of entrepreneurial projects based on AI-related technologies. The programme is promoted by the UAB Research Park, the Computer Vision Centre, the UAB Engineering School, and the CSIC Institute of Investigation on Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most promising and transformative technologies of our time. How can we apply it to out projects? What business opportunities it may give us? To give an answer to said questions, AI4ALL is back, a specialized training to promote the generation of technology and entrepreneurial projects on Artificial Intelligence.

After six editions, AI4ALL has consolidated as a referent for the promotion of tech-related entrepreneurship within the field of artificial intelligence. This new edition, which will spread between the months of June and September, is offering specialized training to different prifiles, from entrepreneurs that want to apply AI in their projects, research personnel and PhD candidates with technical capabilities to move a project forward or engineers with previous experience.

With a combination of theoretical and practical learning, the programme has the goal of training its participants on the use and application of AI technologies to give an answer to social and market challenges. The training plan includes 120 hours distributed among virtual and presential sessions, prototyping activities, individual tutoring, and talks by businesses of the field, which will introduce real-use cases.

During the programme, participants will work in multidisciplinary teams to develop AI-based entrepreneurial projects, with the support of tech experts and mentors specialized in business models. The itinerary will culminate with a demoday, where the teams will present their projects in front of representatives of businesses, institutions, and agents of the innovation ecosystem. During the event, a project will be selected to have a direct pass to the AI Accelerator, the acceleration programme promoted by the Digital Catalonia Alliance and the Xarxa RDI-IA to support the business initiatives on AI.

AI4ALL has the support of the Departament d’Empresa I Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya and is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus. Besides, it has the support of the RDI-IA network, which agglutinates key entities of the Catalan system of innovation on AI.
