Emprèn Pitch

A pitch is a concise oral presentation of an entrepreneurial idea or project. It is a widely used technique in the business world, where communication skills play a decisive role.

To participate in Emprèn Pitch, you must be a UAB student and submit a video of no more than one minute and thirty seconds in which you deliver your elevator pitch, presenting your own entrepreneurial idea or a real project of your own.

A professional jury will select the 20 best videos. These 20 selected participants will take part in the final, which will be held on 10 December at 1:00 p.m. at the Emprèn UAB space (Plaça Cívica). Each finalist will once again have just 90 seconds to deliver their pitch, this time in person in front of the jury and the other participants. The jury will select the three best presentations, whose creators will receive a surprise trip with Waynabox to a European city, worth €250.

The judging criteria will include the presentation itself, the originality and level of innovation of the idea, its potential social impact and its feasibility, among other factors. The jury will consist of one representative from Waynabox, one from the Employability Service, one from the Faculty of Economics and Business, and one from the Faculty of Communication Sciences.

Attendance at the final is an activity included in the Projecta't initiative, which allows participants to earn ECTS credits.
