Desaf·IA Contest: innovative team solutions supported by Artificial Intelligence.

The third edition of Desaf·IA returns to the UAB as an AI ideas competition to solve real-world challenges. The activity invites students and alumni to form multidisciplinary teams and, in just one morning, propose innovative solutions to social and environmental challenges linked to the SDGs: Sustainable Cities and Communities and Life on Land.
The event will take place on 14 May 2026, from 10:00 to 13:30, in the study room of the RR building in Plaça Cívica. Participants do not need to come with a team or a previous idea.
Using the design thinking methodology and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Bard, teams will develop innovative, viable proposals aimed at creating impact. The activity will be led by Pedro Olivares, a coach specialising in leadership.
At the end of the morning, each team will present its proposal to an expert jury, which will select four winning teams, two for each challenge. All members of the winning teams will receive an individual €60 voucher to spend at Abacus.
With Desaf·IA, the UAB reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability and the active participation of its university community.
This activity is part of the Projecta't initiative, which allows students to earn ECTS credits.
