Do you want to discover how a disused public building can be transformed into affordable and communal cooperative housing?

We encourage you to participate in an Entrepreneur’s Corner with people involved in the Clau Mestra project, promoted by Sostre Cívic, an initiative that has rehabilitated the old Teachers’ Houses in La Floresta to create 11 sustainable cooperative homes with shared spaces and a model of real collective participation.

During the session, you will learn how the project was born out of the neighborhood struggle for the right to housing, how the rehabilitation was carried out with bioconstruction criteria and assisted self-construction by the group, and what lessons and challenges have emerged from this innovative process in housing access.

An inspiring space to learn about a real alternative to the real estate market and to enhance cooperative, organizational, and community participation skills.

This session is part of the Social and Collaborative Entrepreneurship Course, but it is open for anyone who wants to attend!!
