Racó de l'Emprenedor: Distinkt and Nanoligent

As part of the Proof of Concept programme, organised by the UAB Research Park, a new “El Racó de l'Emprenedor” event is being held. This is a format of meet-ups led by entrepreneurs, providing an opportunity to share first-hand experiences and open a space for conversation and networking with the audience.

On this occasion, we will have the opportunity to hear from two companies:

1. 10:00h: Distinkt, a technology-based company from UAB, ICN2 and the CSIC to commercialise a smart ink based on nanotechnology for anti-counterfeiting applications. It offers a new generation of high-security fluorescent inks. Its solution consists of a powder containing nano- and microparticles that change colour or fluorescence when irradiated with infrared light.
2. 10:30h: Nanoligent, a UAB technology-based company created to develop a nanomedicine for the treatment of cancer by selectively eliminating tumour cells. It is a system based on nanoparticles that carry a chemotherapeutic drug and release it inside cancerous cells.
