Would you like to go on an exchange programme? Applications are now open for the Erasmus+ and UAB Exchange Programme (UABEP)!

The call for applications for international mobility (Erasmus+ and UAB Exchange Programme) for the 2027–2028 academic year is now open. Here are the key dates:

• From 26 October to 12 November 2026 (both dates inclusive): Application period for exchange places through Sigm@.

To apply for a place, you must complete the online application form available at: http://sia.uab.cat/, under Bachelor's Degree, Official Master's Degree and PhD Students / OUT Exchange Application and Consultation (Outgoing Students).

Only one online application may be submitted for this call. Within the application, you may apply for places under either programme or both. Supporting documentation certifying your language proficiency level (optional) must be attached to the online application within the application period.

• From 24 to 25 November 2026: Appeal period (students should check Sigm@ and, if necessary, submit an appeal to their faculty or school by email).

Students will be able to check whether their application has been accepted or rejected, view their participation score and check which destinations have been denied.

• 10 December 2026: First allocation results published on the UAB website and through Sigm@.
• From 11 to 17 December 2026 (both dates inclusive): Acceptance / Rejection of allocated places through Sigm@.

If you do not take any action within the specified period, you will be considered to have declined the place.

• From 22 December 2026 to 8 January 2027 (both dates inclusive): Application period for remaining available places through Sigm@.

This option is only available to students who have not been allocated a place or who have selected the option "Decline the place and participate in the second allocation round". Students may enter new available destinations in order of preference.

• 20 January 2027: Final decision and allocation of places. The results will be available on the UAB website, under the International section, Mobility and Exchange Programmes.
• From 21 to 27 January 2027 (both dates inclusive): Acceptance / Rejection of allocated places through Sigm@.

This procedure is only for students who have been allocated a place following the application for remaining available places. This step is compulsory.

Failure to accept the allocated place within the established deadline will result in the loss of that place.
