InfoK 25th Anniversary Congress

On Friday, 23 October, the Faculty of Communication Studies will host the InfoK 25th Anniversary Congress: The Challenge of Informing Children in the Digital Environment, a conference organised by the UAB and 3Cat to reflect on the challenges of children's journalism and media literacy in the digital age.
Throughout the day, journalists, researchers and professionals in the fields of communication, education and psychology will take part in three panel discussions on news coverage for children, the educational role of audiovisual media, and the new media consumption habits of children and teenagers. The conference will also feature a keynote lecture by Lewis James, editor of the BBC children's news programme Newsround, as well as a participatory debate with children.
The congress will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Faculty's Aula Magna.
