The Audiovisual Pitching Returns to the Faculty

The Faculty of Communication Sciences has opened the call for applications to participate in the Audiovisual Pitching 2026, an initiative linked to the Talent Week organized by the Catalan Audiovisual Cluster, which will take place from 23 to 27 November 2026 at The Hub Barcelona.
The Faculty will select the projects that will represent it at this professional gathering of the audiovisual industry. Undergraduate and master's students may submit projects developed during the 2025/26 academic year, including coursework projects as well as Bachelor's and Master's Final Projects.
Selected projects will have the opportunity to receive specialized training, pitch their ideas to production companies, and take part in networking activities with industry professionals.
Projects may be submitted in the following categories:
- FICTION: Feature films, short films, TV movies, series, web series, miniseries, and animation.
- NON-FICTION: Documentaries, documentary series, and web documentaries.
- ENTERTAINMENT: Entertainment content for television and all types of platforms, including OTT services and social media: game shows, podcasts, formats, and more.
- VIDEOJOCS
- NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES: transmedia projects, apps, artificial intelligence, NFTs, visual effects, museum installations, virtual reality, augmented reality, the metaverse, projection mapping, and more.
Projects may be submitted to the Dean’s Office until 21 June (inclusive). Submissions must be sent by email to: pitching.fcc@uab.cat. Late submissions will not be accepted
