Exhibition “Leadership in women: Women leaders of communication”

The Faculty of Communication Sciences opens next Thursday, March 5, and until April 7, the exhibition “Leadership in women. Women referents of communication”, open to the entire university community and framed within the initiatives around the 8M of the UAB.

This consists of a collection of trajectories of professional women in the sector with the aim of making female talent visible and generating new references for students. The initiative, promoted by the Equality Commission, brings together a selection of women linked to journalism, audiovisual communication, advertising, corporate communication and other emerging areas of the sector. All of them have been invited to contribute their testimony in different formats, with reflections on the impact of gender on their careers.

The exhibition was born with the aim of evaluating experiences that are often invisible and offering students models that reflect close, possible and contemporary realities. The exhibition also aims to generate debate on the outstanding challenges in terms of equality and the conditions in which women carry out their professional activity in a sector marked by constant changes.

The opening ceremony, scheduled for March 5 at 12 a.m., on the second floor of the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
