Visit of the Board of Directors of the One Health Platform to the Faculty
The first face-to-face meeting of the Board of Directors of the One Health Platform was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
On Friday, June 9, 2023, the first face-to-face meeting of the Board of Directors of the ONE HEALTH Platform took place at the Veterinary Faculty of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The meeting was chaired by Maite Martín Ibáñez, representative of the Conference of Veterinary Faculties of Spain.
Until now, the members of the Board of Directors had held regular meetings using telematic means. However, the face-to-face meeting provided a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the different aspects related to the Platform's activity. The assembled experts had the possibility to exchange ideas, perspectives and experiences directly, further enriching the panorama and the One Health vision.
The vice-dean of Students and Extra-facultative practices, Mrs. Lourdes Abarca, welcomed the Board of Directors of the Platform, and accompanied its members on the visit they made to the facilities and services of the Faculty.
