Specific information about the faculty

The Faculty of Law at UAB, offers a large selection of courses taught in Catalan, Spanish and English. The access to courses will depend on the academic offer for the specific academic year, which is updated by mid-June every year.

All courses are regular courses for our students. Exchange students can only enrol annual subjects if they are coming for the whole year.

As an exchange student you can choose classes for the first, second, third and fourth year from the following undergraduate degree programmes offered in our Faculty:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminology
  • Bachelor's Degree in Labour Relations

You can review the subjects offered by our Faculty in the study plan structure section and in the study guides section.

Students interested in taking modules from some Master, should first check with their home university, if this possibility is established on the bilateral agreement signed between both institutions.

Nevertheless attending master courses is not automatic and it needs the approval of the master coordinator.

Students should also know (just in case it was useful) that, after the implementation of the European Space of Higher Education (ESHE), Spanish universities are following the 4+1 system (4 years of undergraduate studies bachelor + 1 year master program).

Hence courses from our fourth undergraduate program are equivalent to the 1st year of a European master.

Currently exchange students can only choose some master's modules in European integration.
