The Lifelong Learning in Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship, organized by the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), a university school affiliated to the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), is a program aimed at creating entrepreneurial profiles and specialists in the management of innovation and entrepreneurship in health.

The program aims to train professionals with a clear focus on the generation of value and business, intrinsically linked to the needs of the health system and the market and with creative and innovative thinking that allows them to develop their (intra/extra) entrepreneurial skills. The program is aimed at creating new solutions that impact the health system, from the generation of knowledge and the development of new products, technologies and services.

Through an experiential experience, students will gain a generalised knowledge and vision of health innovation systems and will know first-hand about the main global challenges in health, the diversity of agents involved and the main tools and resources in innovation. At the end of the program, students will have acquired the knowledge and technical and strategic skills necessary to become integral and transversal managers in innovation (Innovation project manager), capable of identifying opportunities, promoting the valorization of research results and their transfer to the market.
The master's degree is adress to graduates in the field of life sciences and health who want to adrees or reorient their career in the field of health innovation management, whether in public or private environments, as well as researchers and professionals who wish to promote their own project as entrepreneurs and need to expand their knowledge in management and business development.

The master's degree is also aimed at professionals from other fields such as business management and administration, finance or industry who wish to specialize in the management of clinical innovation and join innovation departments of public institutions (research centers, hospitals) or private companies in the healthcare environment (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device industry, investment funds, consultancies, etc.).

During the completion of the Master's Degree Final Project, students will have the opportunity to manage and carry out innovation projects based on real cases. In addition, for those who wish to broaden their experience, the master's degree includes an extracurricular internship program that will allow students to delve into the reality of the day-to-day life of the innovation and transfer departments of research centers and companies in the sector.
