If you are a coach, physical education teacher or work in extracurricular sports activities, do you find it difficult to react when there are conflicts? Don't know what to do when two teenagers confront each other or when a group questions you? Do you sometimes find it difficult to ensure the smooth running of your business in belligerent or excessively competitive environments?
If you want your classes, training sessions and matches to be fun, successful and learning in harmony, you need to have a peaceful and positive coexistence environment. Do you feel you have the educational tools and resources to proactively build it? In this course you will find them.
Training in a culture of peace through sport and physical activity will give you skills and strategies to facilitate fun in the game and respect in personal relationships, increasing the possibilities of performing at your best in any area where sports are played.
Building a culture of peace in sport consists of consciously generating the appropriate educational context to take advantage of conflicts, inherent in human relationships, as opportunities to grow, both individually for the people involved and for the groups or teams of which they are part.
This specialization course is born from the experience of the UAB School of Peace Culture in creating specific peacemaking methodological resources for the sports field.
