The course is aimed at students who have knowledge equivalent to that provided in the course 'Processing health data with Stata' and who need a more advanced and intensive use of Stata, with handling of data of complex structure, data debugging, reports automated or programming. This need usually appears in longitudinal health science research designs with a number of follow-ups that may vary between participants. However, some advanced statistical analyzes (such as the calculation of concordance between quantitative measures or the estimation of multilevel models or mixed models) require prior manipulations of the original data structure.
The course includes a Tutorial that must be completed before the face-to-face sessions, the aim of which is to reinforce important concepts of the course that when applied to the usual statistical analyzes of any study allows them to be done faster and with less possibility of errors.
