The UAB Language Service is the administrative centre for the TOEIC exam, one of the most widely used language-level certificates in the world, both in education and professional situations. The next sitting is on 11 July 2018. The Language Service will also help you prepare successfully for the exam.

You cannot fail the TOEIC: it is a multilevel exam for which you obtain a grade and an official certificate showing your level of English in accordance with the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages (B1, B2 or C1).

This could be useful for credit recognition in your degree course, for taking part in a mobility programme or for access to a master’s degree or postgraduate course. Additionally, most major international companies require this certificate in their selection and internal promotion processes.

There are three types of test, depending on the purpose for which you require the certificate: TOEIC 4 skills, TOEIC Listening & Reading, TOEIC Speaking & Writing.

If you form part of the university community, there is a special fee of €150 for the complete exam (TOEIC 4 skills). See the conditions for the test type you are interested in. Enrolment is open until 22 JUNE 2018.

To prepare for the exam, you can participate in a preparation course to familiarise yourself with the format of the exam; the Language Service provides exam-practice activities as well as strategies and advice on how to confidently and successfully take the exam. The course takes place on 25, 26, 27 and 28 June. For further information, please follow this link.
