Bachelor's Degree in Social Education
The Bachelor's Degree in Social Education is designed to prepare good professionals in the socio-educational field and focuses on three main areas: adult training, social community development, and socio-educational actions with communities at risk of social exclusion.
The Bachelor's Degree in Social Education offers multidisciplinary training and its syllabus includes two required practicums at different centres. It is therefore no wonder that almost 90% of students of this UAB Bachelor's Degree enter the labour market upon completing their studies.
The degree offers three different tracks: Child and Youth Education, Adult Education, and Socio-Community Education. The degree syllabus is designed by creating synergies with other education-related degrees. It also forms part of the Campus of International Excellence's strategic line of action, the Education and Training Cluster, designed as a space for long-lasting improvements and innovations.

You must have, in addition, an interest in social problems in general and socio-educational ones in particular.
Career optionsThese professionals go on to work in various different institutional contexts: social networks or networks in the community or the administration. You will have the training needed to carry out socio-educational actions, programmes and plans that are linked to all of the agents and resources of a territory in their own context for action, which includes penitentiary and juvenile justice institutions, formal and non-formal education, community and social services contexts and other emerging areas such as hospitals, health, the elderly, etc.
