The Institut de Neurociències (INc) and the UAB CORE in Mental Health once again organise the conference series Cervella’t, in commemoration of Brain Awareness Week. The initiative aims to raise awareness of the research conducted in neuroscience and mental health. The conferences will be given by experts collaborating with the UAB.

On 11 and 12 April, the seminar "Disciplinary crossroads: between the history of science and environmental history" will take place in the iHC building (Institute of History of Science at the UAB), organised by the doctoral students Max Bautista (UCLouvain), Carolina Granado (iHC-UAB) and Héctor Isern (iHC-UAB). The seminar features both local and international researchers in environmental history and history of science to facilitate academic dialogue in cycles of talks with a focus on elucidating plausible relationships and intersections between disciplinary fields. Key points of discussion will include temporality, geographic scale, thematic concerns and methodological approaches, with a special emphasis on addressing environmental activism in contemporary ecosocial crises.
