The UAB Library Service offers to their users:
Library equipment
The UAB Libraries add among its 13 sites about 35,500 m2, with 57 linear Km. of shelving and 4,661 reading seats and group work.
Computer equipment
The UAB Library Service provides to their users 458 PCs and 56 laptops to loan as computer equipment in the reading rooms. PCs permanently updated according to criteria of the UAB Computing Service. In addition to all areas of the libraries have Wi-Fi connection.
We also have lending machines, e-book readers, PDAs, etc...

Equipment to aid disabled people
Visual impairment: extended keyboard, Pocket PC, TV magnifiers and Braille lines.
Hearing impairment: FM radio, recorder and transcription camcorder.
Disabled with limited mobility: Keyboards with cover, one-handed keyboards, ball mouse, MP3 recorder, PDA-communicator.
Other facilities:
Libraries are increasingly incorporate all kinds of facilities to support its users: multifunction equipment, screens, blackboards and parerographs to make presentations, broadcast screens, PA system, scanners, stethoscopes, photocopiers, printers, CD players and / or videos, back mailboxes, etc..
