Quality at the service of the residents
From its foundation, Vila Universitària has had as a priority goal, even above the profitability, to give a service of quality to its users. In order to attain this goal, the company has fixed some standards of quality based in the excellence of management, achieving so much the ISO 9001certification (from 1998), as the ISO 14001 of environment (from 2004). In this moment we are in full process of implementation of the OSHA 18000 and all aspects of corporative social responsibility are being reflected in the procedures of the integrated system of quality.
In the Vila Universitària we understand quality like the satisfaction of the needs and the expectations of the residents. As an institutional company, our organization aims towards an unambiguous vocation on duty to the university community of the UAB, giving coverage to a quality name and brand, and offering an efficient, transparent and rigorous public service. Regarding our professionals, quality means that we work following a system of safe and transparent processes, shared by all members of the organization, with an adequacy and a degree of accomplishment that are evaluated every end of the academic year by a quality committee.
This compromise between reality and quality is made possible thanks to the contributions of the residents like you that, in an individual or collective way, send us suggestions and complaints and require a better service everyday.
