The UAB has marked as one of its objectives the achievement of a more sustainable, safer and more equitable sustainability model (see UAB mobility and accessibility policy in the section Mobility at the UAB)

Given that the mobility of people is a complex activity that depends on the existing options and is conditioned by economic, social and cultural factors, and a multiplicity of origins, possibilities and perceptions, involving many different agents, often with different interests, the university wants to promote participation by all those agents in the process of forming its mobility model.
