Master Plan 2010-2012

The UAB Master Plan for the period 2010-2012, passed on 28 January by the Governing Council of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, is the documents that sets out what the UAB of the future should be and what it should be like as well as the strategic lines and specific actions to be followed over the period to achieve this.

The Master Plan marks the mission of the UAB as a public university and the values on which its actions are based (institutional loyalty, excellence, critical and innovative spirit, social and cultural commitment, responsibility, efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, participation and sustainability)

The vision of the document establishes that UAB, among other things, as a node of reference on different territorial scales, functionally and physically integrated in the local and metropolitan area, recognised for its commitment to sustainability in three senses: social, environmental and economic.

To achieve its objectives it has established People, Innovation and Creation of Value, Environment and Resources as areas for action.

More specifically, as operational objectives, objective 14 is highlighted: Include criteria for sustainability in all university actions and as a specific action ratify the application of the UAB Mobility Plan and its role as a tool for the development of UAB mobility and accessibility policies in the form of the Strategic Accessibility Plan 2006.
