| Professors and researchers who are EU citizens have no legal formalities to complete before coming to Spain. After arriving, please visit UAB's International Welcome Point, located at the Plaça Cívica of the Bellaterra Campus, where you will receive a Welcome Pack with information that will help you get settled. In accordance with current legislation:
Information Sheet 102 (in Spanish) The certificate of registration can be obtained without prior appointment and in person at any of the national police stations (Comisaría) of your place of residence (information about census registration) Note: If you live in Barcelona you will need to go to the police station (Comisaría) of the Barceloneta district. (Avinguda Joan de Borbó, 32) The documents you will need to provide are the following:
- Two photocopies of the registration form (EX18) Information about census registration: https://w30.bcn.cat/APPS/portaltramits/portal/channel/default.html?&style=ciudadano&stpid=20000001806 At the International Welcome Point we will provide you with more information about the documents you need to present and the address of the police station closest to your place of residence.
