The virtual private networks service (XPV) allows access to internet resources from any computer connected to UAB network. One of the most frequent uses is access from off campus to electronic publications subscribed by the university.
You can login at https://xpv.uab.cat. Unlike the old service, no settings are required prior to access equipment and even there you can log in from computers located in public spaces. Enter your NIU and password.
Please note that the first log your browser may give you a message that does not trust the provider, and you must tell it to make an exception to add it. All documentation is http://www.uab.cat/si service in the "Connection teams from off campus."
