The EDC belongs to the Network Europe Direct, thus, between their functions has the one to give answer to the consultations of the citizens related to the European Union and, very especially, to the members of the UAB Examples of consultations: General information about EU matters Answers to your questions on any European Union policy Practical information on dozens of subjects: for example, how to get your qualifications recognised or how to complain about unsafe products Contact details of relevant organisations you may need to deal with Advice to help you overcome practical problems with exercising your rights in Europe Within the network  we  have a specific function as Center of Documentation and also we offer the following services: Bibliographical consultations Access to documents of the Library of the European Commission To obtain restricted documents of the institutions Access on line to the summaries of our Bibliographical alerting service  How to make the consultations: Personally within our schedule (appointment can be arranged) By email: ce.doc.europea@uab.cat By telephone: 93 581 16 81
