Starting in 2025-2026

The Higher Vocational Training in Imaging for Diagnosis and Nuclear Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona aims to train professionals to work in a hospital, master diagnostic techniques and help doctors to diagnose any health incident.

Students will learn to obtain graphic, morphological or functional records of the human body, for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes, from the medical prescription using diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine equipment, and assisting the patient during their stay in the unit, applying radioprotection and quality assurance protocols, as well as those established in the healthcare unit.

At the Vocational Training Centre the study plan includes:

  • Tuition in English in some modules through activities reflecting real situations in this sector.
  • Work with several software tools to improve the profile and technical skills of the students.

Practical training opportunities in companies specialising in exports opens the door to a future with great possibilities for students in this programme.
