Contents
It is a continuing education, interdisciplinary, hybrid-format program with a modular structure of 27 ECTS credits. It includes numerous workshops on technical skills and clinical simulation, as well as seminars, lectures, and more. The in-person component, delivered in a workshop format, incorporates a wide range of educational materials and also features advanced mannequins and simulators, helping to connect students with the reality of professional practice.

KNOWLEDGE (KT):
KT03. Explain anatomical and pathophysiological concepts of the severe/critical patient.
KT04. Recognize nutritional deficiencies, their types, and the different routes of administering artificial nutrition.
KT07. Identify the most common techniques and their possible complications in the clinical practice of the severe/critical patient.
SKILLS (ST):
ST03. Prepare medications correctly and safely and carry out the associated care.
ST04. Develop appropriate reports/records based on systematic assessment (nursing diagnosis) that enable the creation of an individualized care and follow-up plan.
ST05. Demonstrate the ability to make reasoned judgments and, consequently, decisions adapted to the situation after performing a comprehensive assessment of the critical/severe patient.
ST06. Properly apply complex procedures/techniques in complex and/or critical situations, including the allocation of human and material resources.
ST08. Prepare reports and any type of documentation related to nursing intervention.
COMPETENCIES (CT):
CT03. Interpret the results of different basic/complex complementary tests/examinations and act accordingly.
CT04. Assess the clinical condition of the severe/critical patient and act accordingly.
CT06. Discriminate actions through clinical reasoning and decision-making under the supervision of assigned tutor(s).
