Session 1: the R&D ecosystem: framework, policies and society
Description:
We invite you to take part in this three‑session online series dedicated to the research and innovation (R&D) ecosystem, which will take place on April 22 and 29 and May 6, from 12:00 to 13:30.
Throughout the three sessions, participants will gain a comprehensive overview of how R&D works, addressing its institutional and social framework, its relationship with companies and the market, and the mechanisms for funding, transferring, and valorising knowledge.
The series will feature contributions from professionals from research centres, public institutions, and companies, who will share experiences and perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of the R&D ecosystem.
1st SESSION — April 22, 12:00–13:30 — online
THE R&D ECOSYSTEM: FRAMEWORK, POLICIES AND SOCIETY
Objective: Understand the general framework of R&D, its key actors, and the role of public institutions and society.
