IntroductionThe master's degree in Advanced Techniques in Physiotherapeutic Intervention will not be offered during the 2018/19 academic year.
The master's degree in Advanced Techniques in Physiotherapeutic Intervention aims to provide advanced training in different fields of physiotherapy, but without aiming to be a specialisation.

For this, a longer academic programme is offered, with a greater number of ECTS credits (120), which will allow students to expand their knowledge of the muscoskeletal system, neurology, paediatrics, geriatrics, urogynecology, cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, and non-conventional therapies. At the same time, it provides specific training in research methodology and statistics for the health sciences; and strengthens the research profile of professionals.
The main objective of this advanced training in physiotherapy is to equip health services with physiotherapists capable of forming part of multidisciplinary teams and efficiently attending to therapeutic and preventive needs in all areas of health, from hospitalised to primary healthcare patients, both adults and children, and from intensive care units to home visits. At the same time, those who complete the master's degree will have ample knowledge of practice-based research methodologies.
