Professional training
The course "Practicum" is included at the 4th year of the Food Science and Technology degree. This course has an only subject with the same name, which is compulsory and consists of 12 ECTS (equivalent to 300 h). The Practicum is an activity that students perform in a private or public entity, national or international, to complement their university education and bring them closer to the professional field where they will practise their activity. Therefore, it must allow the students:
- to know the methodology of work appropriate to the professional reality;
- to develop technical, methodological, personal and participatory skills;
- to obtain experience that facilitates the incorporation into the labour market;
- to strengthen the values of innovation, creativity and empreneurship.
