This module provides an applied learning experience that enables students to integrate, consolidate and put into practice their knowledge in the management of sustainable and regenerative tourism projects. Throughout the course, participants will work on the development of a real consultancy project for a selected tourism destination or organisation, incorporating principles of innovation, creativity and strategic planning.
The aim is to equip students to analyse territorial challenges and opportunities, propose actions and solutions aligned with sustainability and regeneration principles, and contribute to the transformation of destinations towards more responsible, competitive and resilient models. The module combines practical methodology, fieldwork and professional guidance to offer a comprehensive, impact‑oriented learning experience.
The process combines practical sessions, fieldwork and collaboration with local stakeholders, allowing students to experience first‑hand the complexity of sustainable and regenerative tourism planning.
