All UAB centres will be closed from 22 December 2014 to 6 January 2015 although some services will be available.

Guy Standing defends the rights of the 'precariat' at the Faculty of Law
British sociologist and economist Guy Standing will talk on the political agenda for the 'precariat' at 12:30 pm on 18 December at the conference hall of the Faculty of Law. The event is organised by the Institute of Employment Studies.

The UAB is one of the 15 universities and research centres which - through the Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya (CSUC) - has saved up to 1.73 million euros in 2014, a 13% of the total electricity bill.
