The Cell Culture, Antibody Production and Cytometry Service (SCAC) provides scientific and technical support in the field of biosciences, using cell culture technology and analysing and separating different cell populations by flow cytometry. In addition, we are experts in the production of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies and in the performance of immunoassays.

• Establishment of primary cultures from various tissues and maintenance of cell lines.

• Cryopreservation of cell samples in liquid nitrogen.
• Detection and elimination of mycoplasmas from a cell culture.
• Performing assays with different cell types: proliferation, cytotoxicity and apoptosis.
• Flow cytometry for the multicolour analysis of cell and microorganism populations, functional studies, viability and apoptosis analysis, and proliferation and cell cycle analysis, among others.
