Act of remembrance and tribute to Dra. Riba of the past 29 June.
On June 29, 2023, an event took place in memory of professor Maria Dolors Riba i Lloret. Dr. Riba, who left us on November 21, 2021, in addition to being a great teacher who contributed to the training of many generations of students, and participating in several research projects, contributed intensively and extensively to the management of our university. Among other positions, she was dean of the Faculty of Psychology, the first director of the Department of Psychobiology and Methodology of Health Sciences, and vice-rector of Academic Organization during the two terms of rector Lluís Ferrer i Caubet (2002 to 2009 ). During her time as vice-rector, she led the difficult process of transforming university studies at the UAB to adapt them to the European Higher Education Area.
The commemorative event was organized by our department, it was held in the Sala de Graus of the faculties of Psychology and Philosophy and Letters, it could also be followed via streaming, and it was recorded.
