Ludia Bio is a knowledge-based company specialising in advising on the development of biosimilar medicines in biopharmaceutical laboratories, as well as creating preclinical dossiers for biosimilar treatment candidates and selling these to third parties.

Founded in 2025, the company builds on the knowledge accumulated by the UAB's Department of Pharmacology, Therapeutics and Toxicology since 2009 through comparability tests between biological compounds, as well as on its expertise in the science, regulation and dynamics of the biosimilar market and its agreements with laboratories that develop and market these compounds.
