iFest Bootcamp
What does it involve?
The Bootcamp is a 35-hour online training program that is part of the iFest initiative of the Government of Catalonia. Undergraduate students at UAB who complete the course can earn 2 ECTS credits.
This intensive training is designed to support the resolution of a previously selected challenge using the Design Thinking methodology. This methodology guides the entire process and helps generate innovative and viable proposals.
The program is organized into 7 modules, each including a set of instructional videos accompanied by a practical worksheet:
- Module 1: Empathy
- Module 2: Define
- Module 3: Ideate
- Module 4: Prototype
- Module 5: Test / Validate
- Module 6: Lean Canvas
- Module 7: Communication
Registration and Credit Recognition
Undergraduate students at UAB who wish to obtain the 2 ECTS credits must both register on the Bootcamp platformand enroll in the Bootcamp through UAB’s NEXUS application.Students who skip this second step will not be able to receive the corresponding academic recognition.

Registration deadline: December 9, 2025.
Students who do not yet have a NEXUS user profile can create a “Partial Registration” to enable enrollment.
To earn the 2 ECTS credits, participants must:
- Attend 100% of the online sessions.
- Complete all required activities and evaluation quizzes.
- Submit an individual investor deck (group submissions are not accepted) presenting the project’s development to the Entrepreneurship Unit of the Employability Service: empren.info@uab.cat
