The digital world doesn't stop. AI is here. And you, are you keeping up?

Learn where AI draws its knowledge, how it works, no-code tools, tech trends, create prototypes, and if you have an idea: make it happen.

RAC 1 ECTS course You'll use accessible digital tools like ChatGPT, NotebookLM, Make, or Wix to create automations, smart assistants, or decision support systems, without needing to code. The course combines theory, reflection on responsible AI, and ends with presenting your idea.

  • WHEN: Tuesdays from October 6 to November 10, 2026 (6 sessions)  
  • TIME: From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM  
  • WHERE: Espai Emprèn UAB (above the bar in the civic plaza)

Content:

  • Session 1: Digital context and project definition – starting point for innovationIntroduction to current technological trends, the new professional profiles that are emerging, and the importance of digital and technological literacy as a basis for innovation.
  • Session 2: Fundamentals of AIExploration of basic AI concepts: how it is trained, how neural networks work, and what real applications it has today.
  • Session 3: Prototype building (part 1)Definition of the MVP along with basic ideas about the cloud, APIs, and integrations to see how they are applied in AI-driven automations.
  • Session 4: Prototype building (part 2)Introduction to agile methodologies like Lean and Scrum, and no-code tools to develop apps, websites, or programs without knowing how to code. Basic concepts of databases and cloud computing are also covered.
  • Session 5: Responsible AI and social impactBiases, regulation, sustainability, ethical dilemmas, and reflection on responsible use. Critical analysis of the developed project, identification of ethical risks, and proposal of mitigation measures.  
  • Session 6: Demo day - Presentation of the developed projects.

To get the recognition for 1 ECTS, you need to attend 80% of the sessions and submit a proposal expanding on some of the concepts explained during the course or develop an innovative idea based on AI or digital technologies.
