Future Makers: Entrepreneurship Summer School

The first edition of Future Makers - Entrepreneurship Summer School is here, a project to promote entrepreneurship within the University Entrepreneurship Network, with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) as the organitzer. This is an intensive, free-of-charge initiative designed to introduce university students between 18 and 31 years old to the entrepreneurial world.

The programme will take place from September 1st to 5th at the Diagonal-Besòs UPC Campus, offering training sessions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., complemented by visits to entrepreneurial ecosystems during the afternoons. Places are limited and the course is free of charge.

Future Makers is aimed at university students from any discipline that want to:

• Activate innovative thinking.
• Validate business ideas.
• Develop projects with expert mentoring.
• Visit innovation spaces in Barcelona.

During the week of training, key topics for the introduction to entrepreneurship will be discussed, such as innovation and problem definition, the business model and validation, prototyping and product strategy, marketing and market strategy, and communication, leadership and the development of a pitch.
