Scientific output

The professorship of the Department develops an intense activity of academic research, which is organized through competitives research projects and recognized research groups.

The research of the professorship of the Department has as a result articles in specialized journals, books and book chapters (that are readable in the page: Scientific Production of the UAB). Besides, the Department publishes the journal Locus Amoenus and collaborates in the publication of the journal Recerca Musicològica (published by the Institut de Musicologia "Josep Ricard i Matas", of the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi).

In addition, the Department gives great impotance to the intruduction to the research, as it is understandable by the number of the research papers and the doctoral thesis that are read every year.
