Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science + Bachelor's Degree in Geology

Are you a field scientist and strong defender of the environment? These studies are aimed at providing future professionals with the skills needed to face the scientific, technological and academic challenges of human development and its effects on the Earth's system through a multidisciplinary, holistic approach and with a strong presence on the field. The objective is to use the planet's resources in a sustainable way to improve its inhabitants' living conditions.

This joint programme will allow you to graduate with two degrees: in Environmental Science and in Geology. This double degree lasts five years (345 ETCS credits) and combines specific subjects from each of the bachelor’s degrees. In your fifth year, you will be able to enrol in a specialisation by choosing 22 degree-specific optional credits: 12 from the Environmental Science study plan and 10 from the optional subjects offered in Geology. You will also enrol in two final project subjects, one in Environmental Science and one in Geology, worth 6 credits each. This double degree also contains many hours which are devoted to field and laboratory work and to the interpretation of geological maps.

External work placements are also available for students, and are voluntary in Environmental Science, but compulsory in Geology. There is also a double exchange programme available, in which students can stay at a variety of renowned universities abroad, to study both environmental science and geology.
