You will become a multimedia journalist, travel to a country with an idea and turn a concept into a tangible product, enrich your cultural knowledge by sharing a classroom with people from around the world, create a mini travel guide, write a book with your peers in support of an NGO, take part in a TV programme, form part of the editorial team for a specialist travel magazine, and much more.
A team of successful, expert teachers made up of journalists, specialist travel guides, writers, anthropologists, archaeologists, cyberjournalists, columnists, audio visual specialists, photographers, geographers, reporters, graphic designers will teach and guide you during the course. Register and travel to a European or North African destination to write your Master’s dissertation.
Career opportunities
Possibilities and professional opportunities offered by the Lifelong Learning Master's degree in Travel Journalism range from positions linked to the field of tourism to travel communication (in press cabinets, magazines, web platforms or media) and specialized journalism.The course trains multitasking and multipurpose professionals, capable of working as content editors, text editors, audiovisual producers and/or webmasters in magazines, newspapers, producing agencies, television, radio and multimedia projects linked to communication and travel sectors.
Alternatively, the Lifelong Learning Master's degree is aimed at providing the necessary knowledge so that students can become successful professionals capable of developing a solid career as tour guides, communication and public relations managers and marketing experts in companies in the sector.
To all this must be added the possibility of designing and constituting successful initiatives and projects, such as the creation of companies in the field of travel communication. All this from the contents that make up the academic curriculum of the programme.
Added to this is the possibility of designing and setting up a company for travel communication taking advantage of knowledge gained from the content of the course.

Internships
The onsite element of the Master's degree includes the possibility of optional curricular work experience in companies in the travel journalism sector (travel agencies, media, etc.) with the aim of reinforcing the course content. The availability of places depends on the vacanices offered at the beginning of the application period. Students may carry out between 220 and 225 hours of work experience.
