Homological Algebra
04.10.2012 Seminaris  -  Curs de matemàtica avançada d'Àlgebra Homològica. Els dijous de 10 a 12 des del 4 d'octubre fins a final de semestre.

An introductory course on Homological Algebra will take place in the Department of Mathematics of the UAB during the first semester of 2012-2013. All Ph.D students and senior members with no knowledge (but interest) in the topic are invited to participate. The course will consist of a series of sessions given by different speakers. The preliminary list, in alphabetical order, is: Ramon Antoine, Pere Ara, Ferran Cedó, Dolors Herbera, Francesc Perera, Wolfgang Pitsch, Elena Rodríguez, and Simone Virili.

Aims and Scope:

The aim of the course is to introduce young researchers with the tools and concepts of Homological Algebra making special emphasis on module categories over non necessarily commutative rings. Another goal of the course is to prepare the student for a well understanding of a complementary course on triangulated categories that will take place during the second semester.
