Department servers and printers
The Department has four servers and six shared printers. Their main functions are to provide and manage printing and file-exchange resources. They use the GNU/Linux operating system. The servers have been funded with the grant ERDF UNAB10-4E-378.

Calculation servers
The Department has eight parallel computers (96 cores) that form a cluster. They use the GNU/Linux operating system. The server provides service to all the researchers of the department and has been funded with the grant ERDF UNAB13-4E-1604.

Of the Department's 6 PCs, four use the GNU/Linux operating system and two use Windows. Visiting lecturers and third-cycle students may use these computers.
