New 'TOP Conference' by Chemist and Entrepreneur Judit Camargo, Founder and CEO of Roka Furadada
Judit Camargo will be the featured speaker at the next session of the ‘TOP Conferences’ on entrepreneurship organized by UAB. The event, aimed at students and alumni, will take place on March 26, Wednesday, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emprèn UAB space. Free registration is available on the NEXUS app.
The goal of the session is to allow attendees to learn firsthand about the experience of a successful entrepreneur, as well as to take advantage of the opportunity for networking and expanding knowledge in the field of idea generation and entrepreneurship.
Judit Camargo, specialized in biomedical research, decided to leave a leading pharmaceutical company to start her own business project, which has received multiple awards. Thus, she became the founder and CEO of Roka Furadada, a startup that develops innovative active ingredients in the field of sun protection and has produced a new generation of intelligent sunscreens, more effective and free of toxicity. The company’s R&D department is located at the UAB Research Park.
The Emprèn UAB space, which will host the conference, is located on the first floor of the RR building, in the Civic Square, above the bar. Registration is free and already open through the NEXUS app.
This activity is part of the ‘Projecta’t’ initiative, which allows students to earn ECTS credits.
