Act of Inauguration of the course 2023-24: Joan Oró and the UAB. The Two Contributors View
On Monday, 16 October, at 1 pm. in the Ceremony Room of the Faculty of Sciences and Biosciences, the Course 2023-24 Inauguration Act will take place.

The event, which will be attended by the Grand Rector, Dr. Javier Lafuente Sancho, will consist of the Joan Oró and the UAB talks. The vision of two collaborators, led by professors Claudio Cuchillo Foix, professor emeritus of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the UAB and Emili Gelpí Monteys, who was Professor of Research at the CSIC Institute of Biomedical Research in Barcelona - CSIC and was the first Catalan disciple of Dr. Joan Oró at the University of Houston.
This talk is part of the events organised by the Ministry of Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia and the Joan Oró Foundation to commemorate the centenary of the birth of one of the most important scientists of the 20th century.
