Official Master's Degree in Medieval European Identity

Introduction

The master's degree in Medieval European Identity provides training in the different approaches to research into the middle ages. It therefore leads into PhD programmes in medieval history and archaeology, history of medieval art, and medieval philologies and literatures. The degree gives a wide-ranging education in history, history of art and philology and literature, by means of specialisation tracks. This offer allows teaching to be more focused, through the use of online classes and other new technologies. The teaching content of the degree fits in with current challenges to European identity and with the context of historical and cultural heritage. The specialised content is adapted to the research job market and to the management of the medieval heritage in all its aspects (museums, heritage management and tourism).
