Transfer of knowledge in social sciences and humanities

Participate in the conference on May 9 at 10:00 am, in the Auditorium of the Rectorate of the UAB, in which we will discuss how to transfer research in the field of social sciences and humanities.

On Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 10 a.m., the AccessCat Network, with the support of the Vice-Rectorate for Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the UAB and the AGAUR through the Grants for R+D+I Networks (2021XARDI00007 ) and the collaboration of the UAB Research Park and the General Directorate of Knowledge Transfer of the Generalitat de Catalunya, organizes a conference to bring knowledge transfer closer to research staff and institutions in the fields of social sciences and humanities.

The event, aimed at teaching and research staff and technical and management staff of all Catalan universities, will emphasize two fundamental aspects: understanding the type of transfer that can be made from the fields of social sciences and humanities , and the mechanisms for evaluating its impact .

10.00 a.m. - 10.15 a.m.  Institutional welcome , by Laia Arnal, general director of Transfer and Knowledge Society of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and Rosa María Sebastián Pérez, vice-rector of Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship at the UAB.

10.15 am - 10.45 am  Social valuation of research in Social Sciences and Humanities. Learner of the six-year transfer , conference given by Julia Olmos, professor in Business Organization and member of INN4ALL, Innovation, Science and Society (UV) research group.
